Day #115

Here I am freezing my butt off so I can show you what Ben has been working on.  I give him all the credit for digging this 18 inch deep trench so we can have water for our garden this summer. 

I wore brown boots, and a floral/paisley patterned skirt, a brown tank top with a mustard long sleeved shirt over, and my hair is straight and pulled 1/2 back.  I have on brown shell hoop earrings!

Day #114

Today was interesting.  This morning, my truck wouldn't start, so Ben jumped me and I barely made it in time for my AM Conferences.  Whew!

This is what I wore today:

Pink shirt, white lace undershirt, blue zip up sweater, my jean skirt, gray boots, a pink flower in my hair, and a pair of long yellow hoop & pink/blue beaded earrings!

Then at lunch, Benjamin surprised me by coming to visit me at school so we could eat lunch together!  He's such a stud!

Then PM class & PM Conferences went well.  And then I tried to go home and my truck wouldn't start again, so Ben came to the rescue again!  I love him!

Day #113

I'm wearing my brown flats, white skirt, cream shirt with white tank top, brown striped over shirt and a thin brown belt over.  I have on a brown layered loop necklace, matching earrings, and a brown beaded bracelet.  My hair is curly and half up and I have berry colored lip color on! 

Day #112

C'est moi! I wore my black boots, black tights, floral skirt, white & black sweater with pocket combo, black tank top, my hair is straight and getting longer I might add, and a smile on my face because I feel better & did some of my conferences today.  I'll be staying at school till 5:30 every night this week!

Day #111

Some days I need to stick with the tried and true outfits.  Today was no exception.

I wore brown boots, nylons, pink skirt, brown shirt with two styling buttons, a pink heart ring, and my hair is pulled back and french braided!  I love doing braids!

Day #110

No cute outfit or picture for today.  I've been in bed resting all day so I can make it to school tomorrow and then reschedule all my conferences for next week.

Day #109

Here's me at noon.  I was trying to keep myself together because I am so sick.  Stomach virus sucks!  I couldn't find a sub for my AM class, but found one for my PM class.  I look so cute today cause tonight was going to be Parent Teacher Conferences, but I had to cancel so I could go home and rest.

Then here's me being taken care of by Dr Beans.  What a good puppy!

Day #108

Today was our 100 Day Celebration!  Hooray!  Black shoes, orange tights, blue skirt, yellow shirt with a purple sweater, black belt, orange heart ring, and a multi-colored necklace!  My hair is up in clips and then pulled back too!

Day #107

I wore black boots with cute pink, red, white, and black striped socks with white lace on the top edges, a pink skirt, a pink tank top with a black & gray striped shirt, a pink heart necklace, a pink bracelet, a pink heart ring, and a pink ribbon in my hair.

For my hair today, I pulled it up into a side pony that I braided.  I put the pink ribbon on too!

Also, I love to come home and play with my puppy! He wants to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day too!

And thank you students for loving me today!  It makes all the very crappy days worth it!  I love you!

I get a whole 4 days to eat my treats!  Thank goodness for a relaxing and fun filled President's day weekend! 

Day #106

Today I wore more Valentine colors. I have on red shoes, white socks, yes nylons to keep my legs semi-warmer than they would be without, a white skirt wit black flowers, red shirt, white decorative over-shirt, a red necklace, and a red ribbon in my hair with a bow!

I love my curly hair!  Its fun to decorate with bows and ribbons!  I love this necklace too!  Can't wait to dress up for school tomorrow too!  Holidays make outfits fun!

Day #105

Today I wore black shoes & black pants, a pink long sleeved t-shirt and a white flow with a charm necklace (verses a charm bracelet), a pink peony flower pin, and my hair is up in a bun.  What a fun week for lovey dovey colors! My ring is special, so I wanted to show you a close up:

Its a dolphin made out of shell!  :)  Happy Tuesday.

Ladybug Nails

First, have nail polish handy (haha).

I have a bottle of black polish with at thick brush, a bottle of black polish with a thin long brush, and a bottle of red.

First, apply the red coat.  Second, use the thick black on the tips of the fingernails.

Then use the thin long brush to make a line down the middle.

After that, use the thin brush to make tiny dots on each side of the line.

Last, sit for an hour and let them dry completely.  I recommend not doing laundry, but watching a movie instead!  :) 

Hope your ladybug nails turn out as cute as mine!

Let me know what other nail ideas you have for me!  I'll try anything at this point!  I love painting my nails!!

Day #104

Sorry for the late blog post,  I got home from school and we were having the missionaries over for dinner.  It was a great visit and good dinner!

Today was a school girl outfit. I wore pink shoes, white socks with pink horizontal stripes, a black skirt, a black tank top, a pink shirt, pink necklace, black beaded necklace wore as a bracelet, a pink heart ring, and black flower earrings with pink centers!  My hair is straight and half pulled up.

School went well today!  I was missing 8 students.  6 in my AM and 2 in my PM.  It made a difference in my day, that's for sure!  :)  Happy Monday!  I'm excited for a fun pink, red, heart, lovey dovey week!

A Nap with Beans

What a nice day for a nap!

House Warming Projects

I put up some decorative candle holders next to my pendulum clock.

I have up 2 Cinnamon Spice Cookie candles!  YUM!

I did it!  I brought my dresser upstairs to my window in the bedroom!  It is no longer chilling in the entry, it has officially been put to good use and filled with my clothes! 

The only help I need is belt storage.  On the floor by my dresser is my pile of belts.  I have no idea how to store them.  What do you do?

Day #103

TGIF!  I wore black boots, dark blue skinny jeans, purple tank top with black long sleeved t-shirt over, and a fun scarf.  I have CZ earrings and my hair in a side pony, plum lip color, and green eye liner, it was a fun combo that brought out the colors in the scarf!  :)  Happy Weekend! 

Day #102

I am wearing a purple shirt, pink necklace, blue earrings, and a fun skirt of green, blue & brown, with nylons and gray boots on!  I have my hair straight and the top pulled up.

Today has been an interesting day.  Life is good! 

Day #101

This way and that way!  I have on orange tights, black boots, a black velvet skirt, an orange shirt with a black fashionable tank top that has a waist drawstring and lace back, an orange necklace, black dangly earrings, a bright orange heart ring and my hair is straight and getting longer!  Hooray!  I thought of today as a Halloween outfit day!  I love dressing up for Halloween!  :)  But Happy 6th of February!

Beans

As the saying goes, "beans, beans, they're good for your heart!"  I won't finish the saying, but we got a puppy yesterday!  It is a terrier mut.  We named him Beans.  He is 6 months old too.

He's so little.  He loves looking up at me and then jumping up.  He's our little Jumping Bean!

He loves to sit on our laps and play with his elephant.  He is obedient, doesn't bark, so soft to pet, loves to cuddle and be close to us!

He is such a sweet, cute dog and we love him!  Welcome to the family Beans!  :)

Day #100

Although it may be my 100 day, it is not 100 day yet with the students.  Teachers do lots of extra prep days!

Here's my 100 Day Outfit:

I wore my brown & pink shoes, brown skirt, yellow undershirt, and a fun patterned top!  I wore my colorful shell bracelet, and a loop necklace, and hoop earrings.  My hair is all fluffy and pulled up on top of my head in a clip.

Day #99

I am wearing a blue shirt, blue undershirt, blue jean skirt, and blue checkered shoes!  My hair is wavy and half pulled back in a barrette.  I have on blue earrings and a blue bracelet.  Hooray for this Monday, not too shabby! 

Pets

I'm so happy for my girls!  They are so cute together, but of course, they must always live apart so they don't kill each other!  I love looking at the similarities and differences between Rosie & Daisy.  So much fun!

And lately, I've been just holding and getting acquainted to Willie who we've had now for over a year! I'm getting more familiar and brave with him!

Last night Ben & I even set him down on the carpet and watched to see if he'd explore and he was more frightened than anything.  When Ben was younger and had a snake he'd shut his bedroom door and let his snake down to explore and move around on the carpet.  Maybe with practice and a confined room, Willie will get more confident! 

Day #98

I wore orange skinny pants, blue striped shirt with white and blue layered tank tops, orange beaded necklace with matching orange earrings, a black belt and black heeled shoes.  I am not quite sure if I like the heels with the outfit, but I figured that the belt matches the shoes (that's a guy's rule right or does it apply to everyone, now I'm so confused?).

Well, anyway, here's my hair do for the day.  If not my outfit, I'm proud of my hair!  I did it curly and parted it on the very far right, I started a french braid from the right to left of my head.

In the picture below, you can see I stopped picking up hair to add to the french braid and I let it twist around and fall down so you can see the full on braid verses just seeing the side of the braid!  I love it!

Nails

I love painting my nails!  I love trying new techniques too!
