Day #152

Today I wore black shoes that have a small heel to them, a green striped skirt, white shirt with purple shirt over, green necklace with matching green earrings, black belt, colorful shell bracelet, and my hair is pulled back, twisted under and then braided down.  I don't think you can see it quite clearly in the mirror, but it's beautiful! 

Day #151

Ok, so I missed yesterday.  One of my first oops.  Um, I would love to give you my list of excuses, but instead I'll just tell you I wore silver shoes with bows, a floral skirt, a gray shirt, a gray scarf and my hair back in a bun.  I love this simple yet beautiful outfit!

Day #150

Today I have on sandals, a floral skirt, an orange shirt and my hair is straight!  Thank goodness for 2 things.  1 it is Friday!  2 it feels like spring!  :)

Day #149

Today I wore white shoes, floral skirt, white long sleeved shirt, matching floral belt, white heart ring, flower bracelet, silver heart necklace, and a smile.

Behind me is the wall I took down the paneling from.  And there's a secret window that used to be over the kitchen sink... can you see it?  Its above the white chair.  What should we do?  Put in a between kitchen & family room window or wall over it again?  Thoughts?  Pros or cons of either?

 As for my hair, I french braided up the back and pulled it all up into a bun and put a big white flower on the side. I love braids.  I love buns.  Braids+Buns is even better and I love it!

Day #148

New beam is up and in and secure!  Hooray!  And my outfit today is color explosion.  I love to wear lots of the fun outfits! 

I wore my new orange shoes with white & blue laces, green skinny jeans, yellow shirt with purple-ly blue shirt over, a multicolored necklace, a white over shirt, pink heart ring, and hoop earrings.  My hair is curly and pulled up in a clip!

Day #147

Today I wore black boots, black leggings, an olive green skirt, a black v-neck t-shirt, a heart necklace, and my hair is pulled back in a low french braid that braids to the side too!

Also, my Dad arrived this afternoon!  Hooray!  He got to see the beam and remodels!  :)

Day #146

Getting restless for the end of the year.  At least I have new outfits to wear:

I wore brown boots, white leggings, and a new brown & white striped Old Navy dress.  My hair is straight and pulled up in a barrette.  I have on a white heart ring and a brown bead bracelet. 

Day #145

 Today I wore light brown wedges, brown animal print socks. blue skinny jeans, cream shirt with brown tank top under (straps showing), gold sequin belt, and brown beaded/chain necklace with matching earrings.

As for my hair, I pulled my bangs (now really long) up and ratted them a bit and clipped them up with bobby pins, then pulled my hair into a high pony.  Pinterest secret: put a hair clip in the middle of the pony surrounded by hair so it is hidden and it adds to the height of the pony!  I love trying new hair techniques!

Day #144

I'm so cute!  Today I wore black boots with my gray with pink hearts socks, black skirt, pink shirt, black cover shirt, pink bracelet, and a pink headband that I made!  Today was a great day at school!

Day #143

Today was a color explosion day.  Its been awhile since I've done this, but I love it!

I wore blue shoes, pink pants, a green shirt over a purple shirt, and a yellow sweater. My hair is wavy and pulled up in a barrette. 


I have on an orange heart ring and a purple bracelet and yellow drop earrings you cant quite see.

And also on my feet are way cool animal print socks that I picked out with one of my Gift Card gifts.

I love colors & I love patterns!  I love my outfit today! 

Day #142

So this cold has hit me very hard.  I have a runny nose, sore throat, and a horrible cough.  Coming back from vacation is like saying welcome back germs when I step in my class after a week and a half absence.

Today I woke up at 5:30 and had physically therapy at 6:30.  It lasted an hour.  Then I rushed to school to do my hair, makeup and get dressed for school (out of my gym clothes).  Let's review, the last time I went in for therapy, my left hip was out from the SI joint front to back.  OUCH!  This time my right was out left to right.  OUCH!  Core strengthening exercises are definitely scheduled every day now and therapy ever 2 weeks.  Yuck.  But eventually they can put me back together again, right?  I'm no Humpty Dumpty.

So, my outfit today is:

I have on brown boots, brown tights, an olive green & mustard yellow (with some other random fun colors thrown in there too) skirt, mustard yellow shirt, and a green tank top under.  My hair is pulled to the side and in a braid.

Then today at school was new Kindergarten Orientation and my students got to wear these cool shirts.  My students this year are class of 2025.  My shirt is a child medium, yes I fit it, even though its a little short on my waist!

I took the picture in my family room where the beam construction is underway.  The progress is amazing.  Tear out just started today!

Day #141

Today I wore black boots, black tights, my "Dr. Seuss" skirt, a red long sleeved t-shirt, my hair is curly and pulled up, I have on red lipstick, and a yellow "ART STROLL" bracelet reminder. 

 I'm standing in front of my bubble wall that Ben made for me!!  He's a great husband :)

Today started out snowy, then rainy, and more snow, followed by clouds, more snow, sunshine, and clouds.  WOW!

Tonight I had my Kindergarten Literacy Class followed by the school's Art Stroll.  Busy day!

Day #140

Today I wore gold glitter shoes, a yellow floral skirt, yellow shirt, white vest, yellow heart ring, yellow hoop earrings, and a flower necklace.  My hair is pulled up in bobby pins and then more of it is pulled up into a clip.

TGIF! I'm going to nap!

Day #139

Today I wore my white shoes, nylons (in case of freezing legs), blue skirt, cream colored shirt combination, blue butterfly earrings, and brown hair.  Haha!  Like I get to pick my hair color, nope!  But with my hair, I pulled it up on top in a barrette and the ends are curled.

And I loved taking naps!  Especially when Beans talks me into snuggling together, I fall asleep, he goes off and wanders around for a minute, and then is found on top of my back!

Day #138

Today I wore pink shoes, white knee high socks, pink & white floral skirt in layers, pink long sleeved shirt with sleeves sticking out of the white cardigan, a big pink flower pin on, a pink heart ring, and my hair is pulled half up into a barrette. 

Beans is staring at the laces on my shoes!  He's growing up so fast!  Its been 2 months since we got him and we love him so much!

Day #137

Sooo cold!  The wind made it unbearable. So I wore pants, a long sleeved purple t-shirt, with a pink lace undershirt, gray sneakers, pink heart ring, purple bracelet, and my hair is up in a side pony!

I'm standing next to a warm fire even though it looks & seems like it should be spring.  I want warm 70's again!  Someone out there send spring my way please!  :)  But for now, I'll continue wearing bright happy colors. 

Day #136

Dont know what to say about this outfit except that it was raining and cold today and I wanted some spring in my look too, therefore the skirt.

My hair is straight down too and getting longer!

Grand Canyon Trip Day 7

Woke up, took down camp and drove home!  On the way we stopped at my sister's in Provo for some dinner!  YUM!

But even before that, we stopped for the sunrise at Desert View!

Grand Canyon Trip Day 6

Good morning!  What a wonderful 6 am wake up!  Going to bed with the sun and waking up with the sun is something else and my body just loved it and got used to it soooo fast!  I'm quite amazed at it myself! 

We made some friends at the laundry mat the day before and hiked with them a bit yesterday and we even camped with them and became close hiking buddies on this trip!  So this morning we said bye and took pics altogether!

And we filled up all of our water containers before we left from a natural spring!

We hiked out past Havasu Falls on our way:

And we made it!  Back to the car!

Then we drove back the 4 hours to the Grand Canyon and got a campsite for one last night so we wouldn't have to drive home so tired.

Once again, we took another shower, we sorted our car and dirty laundry for when we got home, sat by the campfire all night and went to bed!
