Day #174

Hooray for Friday!  :)

Today I wore purple shoes, blue jeans, gray & black combination top, purple heart bracelet, purple headband that has purple flowers, purple flower earrings, my hair is in a bun, and a smile on my face!

Day #173

Today I wore gray & orange.  Gray shoes that have bows, painted orange toenails, orange jeans, gray tank top with gray shirt over, orange necklace, gray fabric pin, and my orange heart ring.  My hair is up in bobby pins and then half pulled up in a pony giving it lots of layers.

Day #172

Today I wore pink heals, black skirt that has little to big polka-dots, white tank, pink t-shirt, pearl necklace, pearl earrings, a bracelet that has white, pink & black beads in it, and a pink heart ring.  My hair is straight and pulled half up.

Today was Kindergarten Graduation.  Congrats to the class of 2025!

PS.  If you look closely in this picture, you'll notice a certain furry ferret missing!  HOORAY!!! We sold it last night!  And now my house doesn't stink! :)

Day #171

Rain on our picnic day?  Oh well.  It was still a great day at school.  Inside picnics work too I guess!

My outfit today was because I didn't wear any of our American colors yesterday and I wanted to wear them where lots of people could see-aka school.

Lots of work behind me in the picture getting done.  I wore red shoes, blue jeans, white tank top with a red shirt, blue necklace, red, white, & blue earrings in the shape of a heart that has little holes punched out of it in the shape of stars, and my hair is straight down.

And in other news, Beans escaped his kennel and had fun today in our house:

He tore apart his bed and ate chapstick and pooped in the family room.  I guess he was lonely.  Either that or the rain made him stir crazy!

Day #170

Today I wore zip up the back sandals, my new olive green & cream maxi skirt, green lace undershirt, and a pink shirt.  I have my hair up in a pony tail that I braided down.

Today was early day, so I am home now and going to rest for the next 3 days, so if you do not hear from me, I'm ok, just sleeping so I can get better!  :)

Day #169

I wore gold glittered shoes, cream capris, a brown & white striped dress with a brown necklace & earrings set.  I have my hair pulled up and back into a pony tail.  

Day #168

Today I wore brown sandals, floral skirt, yellow shirt, brown bracelet, and brown ribbon in my hair.

I'm standing by a ferret that we're trying to sell for a friend.  Ferret anyone?

Also, I wanted to tell you about a fun hair style I tried last night and today.  It is a side french braid. I seriously tilted my head, pulled all the hair over to that side, started at the top and french braided down it.  It has a lovely swooping pulled over look and the braid is french & on the side=2 of my favorite things! And to finish it off I used a ribbon as a headband.

And lots of things led to me getting my last cold of the school year, TODAY.  Ugh.  I'm trying to prevent it from going all the way, but so far no luck.  Its hitting me hard, so dont let that smile fool you! ;-)

Day #167

Today I wore orange shoes with green & white laces, green pants, purple shirt with random fun shirt over it, long hoop necklace, brown hoop earrings, and my hair is in a side braid.

Today was also Book Club!  I love reading!  :)

Day #166

Today I had on brown shoes, jean skirt, cream shirt with striped over shirt, and feather necklace.  My hair is in a side bun.  I am standing next to our herb garden for the year.  Lots of yummy things growing here!

Day #165

Today was the spring sing where all my Kindergarten students came in the morning to sing for their parents.  The district provided every kid with a blue t-shirt that says "Class of 2025" to encourage them to graduate high school and not drop out.  I fit a kid medium, so I got a shirt too!  I wore layers of blue & white shirts with blue & white ribbons in my hair off a small side pony.  The rest of my hair is straight down.  I have on blue earrings & matching bracelet, blue jeans, and blue plaid shoes.  Beans says hi too!  :)

Day #164

Today I wore gray shoes, gray skirt, blue t-shirt, polka dot/hoop necklace, and my hair back in a curly pony tail.  I also have on bright red lipstick!

 

We've been training Beans so well and have a doggie door for him now, so yes, he now sleeps and snuggles with us all night long!  I love it! 

Day #163

 

Today I wore brown sandals, brown capris, a long ruffled shirt, heart necklace, curly hair and berry lip color!

Here's Beans two ways.  Same pic but it would NOT go horizontal for the life of me.  Ugh.  Sometimes I wish I could just touch the screen and save MOVE IT NOW!  :)  He's such a cute puppy!

Day #162

Today I had on sandals, pink skirt, black tank with gray shirt over, black necklace, gray earrings, and my hair is up in a poof of sorts.  :)

Just in case you're wondering... 10 days left with the students!  And after that it is one on one assessments with each student for the following 6 days.  (I do have 46 students after all... aka it takes forever). 

Day #161

Sorry for the late blog, long busy day!  I wore purple & yellow today!  Purple shoes, cream capris, purple ruffle shirt with yellow tank top underneath, purple bracelet, and yellow heart ring!  My hair is up in a side pony with a yellow flower too.  I'm standing in front of a piece Ben recently bought for $12 and is listed online for 300$$.  So happy with his selection, not just the bargain, but it is adorable! 

Day #160

I wore black heels, a floral skirt, a black t-shirt, hoop earrings and my hair is straight down!  Today we also had our faculty luncheon and it was a blast!  Good group of teachers to work with! 

Day #159

Today was my blue day.  Blue skinny jeans, silver shoes, white heart ring, blue & white shirt with a few layered blue and white tank tops.  I have on pearl earrings, and a pearl necklace with a heart pendant that says "I LOVE YOU!" My hair is so curly and pulled half up. 

Today I had the experience of getting my hair checked for lice because it is going around my classroom.  Why my classroom?

Also, our stairs are coming along so well!  They need to be sanded and stained and nailed down of course too, but progress none the less!  :)

Day #158

Today was lady in red day.  I wore mostly black... HAHA.  Well, black shoes, black & white polka dotted skirt, gray polka dotted tank top with a red shirt over it, red bracelets, black necklace with matching black earrings, red lipstick and my hair is up in a poof/bun with a red flower on the side!

Behind me are the stairs that my wonderful husband is fixing so people won't fall down them anymore.  The previous spacing was way off and now they are wonderful! 

Beans and I are really happy about the progress!  :)  Thanks Ben!

Day #157

Today I wore PINK!  Pink shoes.  Pink footless tights.  Pink floral skirt.  Pink tank top.  Pink long sleeved t-shirt.  Pink heart ring.  Pink bow in my hair.  Pink earrings.  Pink lipstick!  I LOVE PINK!

Day #156

Today I wore brown sandals, a floral skirt, a brown shirt, red & brown bracelets, a red butterfly necklace, and my hair is straight. 

Beans is wearing fur today ;-)

Also, I'm standing where our old back stairs used to be.  The ones you can hardly go down without falling because of the very narrow steps.  New steps are on the way, thank you BEN!

Home Projects

So, we finished the beam repair and I tore down the nasty brown paneling only to find old house siding from the original structure.  I found lots of bad wiring and crazy board placements, also I found a stick supporting a wall.  WHAT?!?  I know, the guy who did the addition in the 70's was crazy!  How do you count sticks as sturdy construction material?  Well, YOU DONT!

Anyway the next project is to fix the yucky steep back stairs inside our home.  Then we will take down one of our bedroom walls to expand our room, move the bathroom door, make a bedroom door, and put up the new stairs.  To finish it all off, we will drywall!

Ben has been working hard at the duck pond.  Today we both put on our suits and did some work outside.  He had to get in to hook up the fountain which looks amazing!

Now the pond cycles through the filters and it has goldfish in it too!  Our ducks LOVE it!  But unfortunately, they never stay in it long enough for me to get a picture.  Silly duckies! 

Day #155

 Today I wore my new pants!  Hollar, they are so awesome!  Below is a close up of the pattern!  I wore blue shoes, white socks and to tie it in white shirt with blue shirt over!  I have on a feather pink necklace too!  My hair is in a poof and pulled up in a wild pony!  Love it!  Today was a great Friday!

Day #154

Sorry.  Different parts of our house have been off for rewiring projects and now it is time to play catch up!

Day #153

It snowed today.  Ahh!  Today I wore black boots, white leggings, brown dress with a gray shirt, black & white belt, and black necklace.  My hair is pulled up on the side in a ringlet and has a black flower beside it.  Beans was so excited to be in my picture today!  He loves play time!
