We had a lot of fun decorating our tree and home for the season. Here are some pics to look at for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Here I am putting the tree skirt my wonderful Aunt Phyllis made for us around our Christmas tree.

In this picture, if you look closely, you will see that indeed we did pick the right tree for us, cause it shows us some love!

We put tinsel on our tree, and the funny thing is, we do put it on the same way without having talked about it before. We just grab a bunch and throw it at the tree. It falls in a most fascinating way! If I do say so myself, we did a great job with the tinsel!

Benjamin and I decided to do the poor college/newlywed thing and make our own star (thanks mom and dad for the great example)! It took us some time to make and we ended up printing a pentagon off the computer so that we could make the perfect star.

Here is me helping to cut out the star.

In this picture, Benjamin is putting a present he got for me underneath our tree.

After we wrapped the star in aluminum foil, Benjamin placed it at the top of our Christmas tree.

This picture is from 5 minutes ago and shows Benjamin doing his homework right by the tree, notice how he leans up against the couch instead of sitting on it, I dont blame him, its a pretty lame couch, but we'll take what we can get. So as you can also see in the picture, presents are starting to pile up and the tree looks awesome cause Benjamin got a package from his Mom of ornaments (his ornaments since he was a little boy) and he had fun putting those on the tree too. And in the bottom right corner is a pile of presents for Benjamin's birthday which happens to be 3 days after Christmas (on the 28th). So, life is good and we are happy here in our snowy land of Rexburg, Idaho. We are excited to go to Utah this weekend and be with our family for a bit before everyone goes to their holiday destinations. Have a warm holiday season for now! Love to all, Melissa :)
