Weeeeeeeeeek #36

(Weeeeeeeeeeeek said in a scary Halloween voice)!!

Lots happened this week!

 Daddy & Emilia tickle time!
My lil person walking along the couch!
 And on her exer saucer.
She gets so excited and anxious when we facetime Grandmom!
She loves watching Beans on our walks around the park!
Friday we went and saw Great Grandma!  I'm glad we have time to spend together!
Great Grandma was very tolerant of Emilia tasting her. :)
Emilia knows where the good stuff is found at Great Grandma's already too! (It didn't take very long)!
Emilia got to pick a puppy too!  Well, we all did.  We picked the chocolate rat terrier.  She's such a cutie!
Then we took her home!  Beans came with us to pick her out/up too!  He was very curious about her and then he got hesitant of her super fast!
Here's a picture of our puppy with her mom and dad.
Here is little Coco Bowman in the kitchen with her toy bunny.
She loves to snuggle in the sun!
Emilia is picking out her own toys now too!  Its fun to watch her process things!
I line the toys up on the couch so she can stand and play.
Daddy loves to take his big girl on rides!
More toy time at the pool!
Throw back picture to when all 5 of my siblings and I wore "the clown" costume for Halloween!
 Sleepy puppy!
My cousin Kayla came over and we got to spend time with her!
Then I packed up my "three babies" and headed to see Nettina and her "three babies." So the numbers were 3 dogs and 3 kids plus 2 of us grown ups.  Whew!  What a crazy fun time!
My dogs for size comparison (if you thought Beans was small, this puppy is tiny but will grow up to be bigger than Beans one day)!
Jared & Melanie took turns feeding Emilia.  :)
Lots of babies piled on Nettina's lap.
 Back home for more fun!
And we even had sharing toy practice too!
Whew!  What a busy fun week!  Love to all! :)

OH what a week #35!

Daddy and Emilia time when he took a quick break from working on the bathroom.
Mommy & Millie matching day!  Black & pink!!
Beware the sock eating child... *insert scary Halloween music*  haha!
She loves baby mum mum and wants to eat them all!
She pulls herself up on everything.
She loves to spin her wheel and use the fun pieces on her exer saucer.
Saturday was Babies R Us's Babies First Halloween Celebration.

We got a whole bag full of goodies!
We even saw a friend from birthing class!
These pics are all just too cute and I couldn't pick just one!

And I was a cowgirl and she was a giraffe!
First ride up front in a shopping cart!  Go Emilia!
I got her this cute Baby Einstein piano.  She loves it!

Baby and Daddy time after Daddy got back from hunting (no luck this weekend).

More cruising around for this kiddo!
Laundry anyone...? (She's standing and holding onto the basket for support).
I made Black Bean and Chicken Chilaquiles.
Here's the recipe: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/black-bean-chicken-chilaquiles
Emilia even loved parts of them!
Kitchen sink is leaking again.  So as much as we are remodeling our house, things that are done and should stay finished are failing.  Such is life of homeownership.
Ben got Emilia all ready for bed!  They love before bedtime snuggles!
I love Halloween!  I dress up every chance I get!  :)
Uncle Isaac came to sleepover.  Emilia was thrilled he was here in the morning when she woke!

Gates happened this week too!  She feels trapped and confined when she gets close to them, but otherwise doesn't notice when she has her toys to play with!
Bottom left corner of the pic below anyone see anything?
She loves standing up.  I tell you she'll be walking before we know it!  Beans is overhead in the sunshine watching her play!  Good doggie!
Blocks.  Gotta have blocks!  These ones are soft and squishy and noisy and tactile.  What a great baby toy!
As for sleeping, she decided to give that up this week.  We're talking sleeping at night.  She'd rather cry and fuss and play and not nurse (weird i know).  We are still trying to diagnose said happenings, so we'll see how the next few nights go (not a great week for this because Ben has midterms and needs his sleep). :/
But she's more communicative in her grunts and coos and is starting to be clingy to mommy again.
Also, she turned 8 months this past Sunday.  I am grateful for every day with her, no matter how hard the nights are or some times of the day too.  She's the best little girl!  I love her so much! And for those of you wondering about Ben, he too is sooo smitten and beside himself with love for her!  Its so cute to watch them and makes my heart melt!  I love our family!
