Night out with the hubs! Off to Olive Garden to carb load!
I love him! And then we went to the movies!
And of course, more Beans snuggles!
I love the way he sleeps!

Day #58 of summer break
Today was a "why can't we be friends" type of day. These two dogs, Beans & Odin do not get along at all. So we were trying to give them treats together and eat together and be nice together! Did it work? Nope. Only when there are treats out will they even tolerate each other. Long term solution? Keep them apart.
And here is the picnic table's resting place... for now that is. I think it is wonderful to sit out in the garden!

Day #57 of summer break
Dressers are done and put back where they belong!
Here is how Ben's dresser turned out:
And here is mine:
Wahoo! Go projects!
And of course, this is how I woke up this morning. I love Beans!

Day #56 of summer break
Can you tell something is different about Beans?
He is so soft now! He seriously feels like a stuffed animal! We love snuggling with him even more!!!
Day #55 of summer break
Ben & I finally found the perfect entry bench and so I put it together today and added the baskets that come with it!
So here is how one drawer turned out. So pretty n pink!
While we were buying the bench we found a picnic table for sell too! Ben came home and stained/sealed it while I painted Ben's dresser white and mine pink!
This is what our yard looked like for the afternoon!

Day #54 of summer break
I did mine pink. Ben even asked me to do his and so I did his in blue.
Stay tuned to see how they turn out!
Tonight Ben had a chance to earn a bonus. He got to dive and swim for cash in a huge pool. He got almost $100. He was so excited!
Day #53 of summer break
Be warned. This post is a dumping of cute pictures of me & Beans snuggles!
And Beans and I kept moving around and changing positions. We love snuggle time!

Day #52 of summer break
WE did it! WE bought our new kitchen! It is going to arrive in 3-4 weeks! I'm so excited. Of course this is the print out Home Depot did for us and I spent time coloring it our colors! I'm thrilled!
Day #51 of summer break
Today I spent time painting and thinking about art projects.
Here is my latest piece!
Day #50 of summer break
Today was dress up day. So I got out my makeup and went to town. Lots of colors!
And I threw on a wig and big earrings! If only every day could be Halloween! ;-)
Then there has to be an after picture:
When I wear a wig, I french braid my hair and bobby pin it back up. So, when I let it down it gets all wavy and crimped looking. I still have my eye makeup on!
I remember being a kid and dressing up and having fun trying all sorts of styles and ideas. I guess I never really grew out of it. :)

Day #49
Beans and I took a snap shot together on this morning!
Then I spent most of the day at school getting work done. It was the last day I have before the first teacher work days begin right before school! Ahh, school time is coming!
And of course, 50cent cones! We do it almost everyday! Beans is on Ben's lap today!
Then we got home and it was time for Beans' bath! Here's my little wet dog. He looks so skinny when he is wet, well duh because his fur is not all fluffed out.

Day #47 of summer break
Beans napped while Ben & I worked together to finish up the last of the drywall.
Here is a picture of the last part, the beam, to get drywall.
Ben is happy to put the last screw in!
Then he decided to take a break and relax in the pool. Beans chilled on my lap!

Day #46 of summer break
Today was painting the hallway day. The color Ben picked was antique white and it turned out great!
I even had to stand on the ladder while it was on the stairs. I set it up myself and was scared out of my mind, but I concurred my fear and did it!
Ta-da! It is beautiful!
And here is a shout out to my little helper, Beans!
Side note: Wear a bandana or a hat while painting ceilings so you do not get paint in your hair!
