Count your blessings!

So, at church on Sunday, we learned about faith. We discussed our worries too and how when you worry there is no faith... or something to that extent. So I've been trying to forget my worries and have faith that everything will work out. And so today was a great day! I got a call about an interview (its on Thursday for a clothing retail job) and Ben sold a security system today (its been awhile for him). So we are very blessed and still enjoying our time here in Portland! We'll see how the rest of this week goes! Thank you all for your prayers in our behalf!!! I love you all!

Japanese Gardens

We took a lovely afternoon and went to the Japanese Gardens. We walked around for awhile in this beautiful, peaceful place. It was wonderful!

This picture is of me in front of the bridge & surrounding shrubs, trees, and nature that happened to be in a puzzle (from Benjamin) that I did last fall. Its not often that I actually get to visit a place/location that I have done a puzzle of. It was a way cool experience for me!!

Story: So, we were waiting for fly balls to come our way all night. Then one did and it landed under my seat, but our friend next to me reached under and snagged it before I even looked down. Luckily it didnt hit me in the head.

Hurray for Temples!

So, we were able to take our family names, and our friends, and go to the temple and get some work done! :) They were awesome to help out!






Luckily for us, the Portland Temple is only 15 minutes away!

Portland Zoo

So, we spent the afternoon touring Portland and visiting the Zoo!!! I love the animals! The baby elephant was my favorite! Oh and the giraffe and there was a zebra. Also, some cool snakes and fishes, sea otters, ducks, goats, polar bears, bald eagles, the monkeys, some bats, and hippos and rhinos. Way cool day at the zoo!
























So its more like a photo journal instead of detailing all of the wonderful events at the zoo. But it was amazing!!! I love my hubby! He took me out to the zoo! I hope you enjoyed the pictures.
