The wedding ceremony! Ben was an amazing husband (yet again) and held his hand out the entire time recording it all on film!
Ben & I looking sharp in our wedding attire!
Me & Jamie, the unofficial bridesmaids!
On Tara & Guy's display table, she put out the TMNT t-shirts that we matched and wore together for Halloween at school!
The idea for the gifts they received was to place them under all the trees and it looked so cute! It wasn't a Christmas themed wedding, it was a winter wonderland theme!
Here's the table center pieces. A stand glued onto a plate, spray painted, pick up pine & pine cones, add them on, then put on a glass with fake snow and an electric tea light candle in it with a snowflake that is held up because it touches both sides of the glass! So cute and all for under $5 times 6, 1 for each table!
Their pretty wonderland rice crispy cake! And her bouquet is off to the right side! So pretty!
Only my BFF would let me capture her like this on her wedding day! Yes, she did eat and was happy to do so! Let me tell you about her attire: She wore a yellow ribbon in her hair for her husband, a soldier. There's a poem that goes along with this idea:
| She Wore a Yellow Ribbon Cadence |
Around her neck She wore a yellow ribbon,
She wore it in the springtime And in the month of May.
And if you asked her Why the heck she wore it,
She'd say It's for my young Soldier Who is far, far away.
Far away!
Far away!
She wore it for her Soldier so far, far away.
Around the block she pushed a baby carriage
She pushed it in the springtime And in the month of May.
And if you asked her Why the heck she did it,
She'd say It's for my young Soldier Who is far, far away.
Far away!
Far away!
She pushed it for her Soldier so far, far away.
Around her thigh she wore a yellow garter. . .
She wore it in the springtime And in the month of May.
And if you asked her Why the heck she wore it,
She'd say It's for my young Soldier Who is far, far away.
Far away!
Far away!
She wore it for her Soldier so far, far away.
Behind the door her daddy kept his shotgun. . .
He kept it in the springtime And in the month of May.
And if you asked her Why the heck he kept it,
He'd say It's for a young Soldier Who is far, far away.
Far away!
Far away!
He kept it for a Soldier so far, far away.
And in the church the preacher kept a license. . .
He kept it in the springtime And in the month of May.
And if you asked her Why the heck he kept it,
He'd say It's for a young Soldier Who is far, far away.
Far away!
Far away!
He kept it for a Soldier so far, far away.

So, she also had her seamstress (not me this time) sew navy blue around the edges & sleeves. It looks great!
So the picture above is the 3 of us. Bride=Tara, me, and Jamie!
Tara & Guy dancing!
Jamie & I helped ourselves to his car and decorated the entire thing with crete paper! The cousins of Guy were writing "Just Married" and other fun things on the windows.
Wouldn't you love to see your car like this after your wedding? Some people go all kinds of crazy. We thought this covered it, but was also very reasonable!
My favorite picture of the night is of the 4 of us! Ben, me, Tara, and Guy! What a happy bunch of friends we are! I'm sure gonna miss them when they move for Guy's training! Congrats!
