Kindergarten Best Friends

This year for Christmas each class at school picked one charity to donate to this Christmas season.  My K classes (AM & PM) picked the Best Friends Animal Society.  We collected so many items for the animals!

It was a huge bin full and overflowing!
Our school held an assembly to honor and give all the donations to the recipients.  Here is a picture of all of them:

This is Katie who received the donations on behalf of the Best Friends:

She is holding, Wink, the kitten who has one eye because of an infection.  The students got to spend time with Wink and they thoroughly enjoyed it!

Katie also brought in Arnie, a 10 year old golden retriever.  He was my favorite animal visitor!
