Day #2 of summer break

Well, to recover, I just sat around and relaxed.  I did get some sewing of the curtains done too.

Now they match on the left and on the right.

Next step was to move around the furniture in our place, so we came up with this:

Beans loves his window seat.  The blinds had been cut by the previous owners for a mounted A/C window unit.  It just happens to work out in Beans favor!

Today is Saturday and that means date night in the air.  Literally in the air.  We went to the drive-in movies!  We had so much fun watching After Earth and the newest Star Trek film.

We filled my truck with couch cousions, pillows, blankets, and food and headed out.  It was a great night snuggling under the stars watching a movie!

By the way, if you have kids, I suggest bringing them in their PJ's.  The first movie starts at dusk (9:30) and the second one starts around midnight.  We didn't get home until 2:30 am, which is the latest we've ever stayed out we think.  WOW!  :)
