Grand Canyon Trip Day 2

We woke up early, broke camp, and packed our backpacks. 

Goodbye car! Here we go!

We found our trail and started on our way:

The views going down were breath taking indeed!

As most of you know, "What goes up must come down."  It goes the other way too:

From this next picture you can tell we're getting down into the canyon...

Look!  We're doing it!

We made it to Indian Gardens and set up camp there:

Then we went on a day hike down to Plateau Point.  Here are some of our views!

And then back a mile to our campsite, a ranger presentation on California Condors, dinner & then bed!
