So it was Sunday morning, we packed up camp and drove away. We went through the 1.1 mile long tunnel and past 2 rams out side the last of the tunnels. Then we got ready to hike Bryce Canyon (it is a small park, but now one of my favorites!)
What a strong looking animal!
We stopped for a picture at Checkerboard Mesa.
This is our hike down from the top of Bryce Point all the way through the canyon and up and out the other side. It took us 2 hours to do 6 miles.
The views are quite amazing!
You can see the trail in the pic above and below we walked under and through so many gaps/arches/bridges in the rock.
Love this pic above!
Above is a picture of the trail and all the switchbacks. Left, right, left, right, but we went up it baby! Oh yeah! Go us!
Here are all the cairns people made to lead to way on the trail. I usually just call them trail markers or stacked stones.
Through some narrow gaps and under more passageways.
And back up again looking clear back to where we started. We finished at Sunrise Point!
This is one of my most favorite parks now! Cant wait to go back and finish the last of the hikes! :)
