Here's looking at Angel's Landing. We made it to the point at the top and end!
It is mating season for our lovely friends, the tarantula. This is a male. You can tell because of his small abdomen. Female tarantulas have much larger bodies. Well, the males go out and look for mates and if you're lucky enough, you might just see one cross your path on his way for the ladies. Also, this is a great pose the tarantula gave us because you can tell his size because he's in the heel of a footprint.
Our view going up.
Me holding a sphinx moth. The inside of their wings is pink. So pretty!
Ben is holding onto the chain for dear life because that is how you climb the top of this mountain.
We went right up this ridge.
Ben with a long way down on the right and another long way down on the left. Talk about the ridge.
The view from on top. And look, the sun came out to shed some light on the valley below!
Hooray for warm clothes to keep the wind chill at bay!
I love my hiker buddy! Ben is the best!
No kidding, on the edge for real!
My ta-dah! I did it pose!
A little bit about the area.
Then we went to the Emerald Pools hike. So pretty! The pools are okay. My favorite was the lower falls/pools.
Here is a picture of the falls/water pouring down into the pool below.
